A Vindicaton of the Rights of Women

The date? I don't have time to ask anyone about it. I have been working on my last book for about twenty days now. I'm really exited about publishing it and screaming to the world the ideas of the first on a new genus. The book is called A Vindication to the Rights of Women which i expect to publish this year, 1792. I couldn't think of any better way to show my ideas, books is what everyone is on now days. All the enlighted philosophers, sientists and writers are putting all their new ideas on paper, so not only their can voice their thoughts to their comunity , but to the whole world and future generations.

I want everyone to know that if women get an education they would make society better. That if you are going to have a woman rise your kids you should educate that woman so she can rise them right. That women this days act like they do because since they are little they are told that thats how they are supposed to behave: Like extra sensitive, non reasonable animals!!! But that is not what we are!
In this book I also talk about the rights of men, how government should work, how nations should be educated and the wrong ideas of other writers.

Women shoul be seen as humans capable to do anything man can do (intellectually since it is obvious that men have phisycal adventage) if we get education! Please stop looking at us like we are tools for reproduction rather than the humans we are!!!

Buy my book It is ment to be the start of a new way of thinking about women.

Hello my name is Mary Wollstonecraft, I was born on April 27, 1759 in Spitalfields, England. I lived during the times of the French revolution and The Enlightenment. My childhood was rough my father used to get drunk and beat my mother and my sisters, but one day i had enough of it and stood up for them and my self.

Fanny Blood, my best friend, was the one that opened my mind to feminism, she inspired me to fight for the rights of women. Unfortunately Fanny got really sick, I left everything i was doing and went to nurse her. She died!    =(

When i came back to England i was employed as a governess for a year. After that i wrote my only children book called Original Stories From Real Life. It was then when i decided to embark a writer career. Then I wrote "A Vindication to the Rights of Men" & "A Vindication to the Rights of Women". In this times my works are not so looked at as my dramatic life, but in the next century feminists from all around the world would observe that my thouhts are the start of women rights fight. They would find that Im not only trying to change the way society look at women, but also the way nations are ruled and people educated.

I wasn't so lucky in my love life. first i fell in love with a men that was already married, he rejected me. then I fell in love with an American adventurer called Imlay, I gave born to my first daughter in France, I wasn't married so Imlay gave his last name to protect me from the anger of the French towards the English. Later Imlay left me and I tried to commit suicide twice. When I was over with Imlay I fell in love for third and last time. Godwin was the only one that loved me we got married on March 1797 and died on September of the same year after giving birth to my second daughter Mary author of Frankenstein.

It was 1790 the age of Enlightenment and French Revolution. Since France was fighting against England I wasn't allowed to be in France, but i manage to travel between this two places several time. As an Enlightenment figure I had to make friends with other philosophers like  Jean-jacques Rosseasu and Edumd Bruke and that wasn't going to be possible if I didn't go to France. Also in France was Marie Antoinette, I wanted to judge my self if the sexist behavior books were based only on women like her or on the majority. During this time of period many philosophers started to write about government, education, social behavior and individual rights, and i was one of the few women who did. The enlightenment ended in the mid 1800s, but my ideas are still analyzed now days.
